Complex will house Sub-Atlantic Inc.
Triton Group is launching a new $1 million facility in Houston to house Sub-Atlantic, Inc, designers and manufacturers of remotely operated technologies.
UK-based Sub-Atlantic was acquired last year by Triton. The 5,000 sq. ft. center has been established to boost opportunities for Sub-Atlantic in the Gulf of Mexico. As well as a technical store and light manufacturing base providing the latest in replacement thrusters and components, the center will also give customers access to complete ROV systems from stock - with the first system due to be delivered in June. The facility also offers courses on ROV simulation plus training for pilots, technicians and engineers and customer support services.
Located at 10642 West Little York in northwest Houston, Sub-Atlantic's premises form part of a 30,000 sq. ft. complex which also is occupied by Triton company Perry Slingsby Systems. and close to GEMS' premises. Plans are well underway for other companies in the group to open a U.S. presence at the same facility.
